We are looking for a self-starter; someone who rolls up their sleeves and gets the job done. The autonomy attached to this role requires an individual with the necessary initiative and curiosity to think through a problem and deliver a solution. You will be really comfortable using computers and probably already run your life on cloud based systems. You will be responsible for helping to deliver cutting edge functionality and a great user experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identify, document and specify client requirements, steering a course to implement with the standard software through configuration.

  • Identifying gaps in the product and providing thought through solutions.

  • Liaison with the development team including specifications, fact finding or answering of specific questions in order to correctly satisfy market and client requirements.

  • Working closely and reporting to the Product Owner to ensure that product changes satisfy the entire contract lifecycle. This will include all aspects from pricing and origination through to contract management, accounting, collection, asset management, termination etc.

  • Proven experience of systems development lifecycle including requirements capture, analysis, design, development and testing

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written

  • Previous experience in a business analyst role

  • Capable of identifying functionality gaps

  • Ability to take a business issue and investigate to understand system root cause

  • Familiarity with technical aspects of systems implementations

  • Independent worker and excellent organisational skills

  • A high level of IT literacy and a clear understanding of software applications


  • Experience in financial services is desirable ideally within asset or automotive finance

  • Experience of different project methodologies

  • SQL experience 

  • Full UK driving licence
